How can I access these records?

The newspapers listed above are available at Hawarden. If the newspaper you would like to view is available as a hard copy only you will need to book a place in the search-room at Hawarden. The booking form allows you to leave a note for staff in step 3, please add the title and dates of the newspaper in the notes section. Alternatively, you can find the newspaper reference within the main catalogue using the reference number and follow our guide on How to Order Documents.

If the newspaper you would like to view is available on microfilm, for preservation reasons we would ask you to use the film to reduce handling of the original. Please add a microfilm reader to your booking and add a note in step 3 to tell us which title and years you would like to view during your visit.

There are no restrictions on accessing newspapers except where the item is too fragile to view. If this is the case, you will see NOT TO BE PRODUCED in the catalogue entry. If you are unsure if a specific newspaper is available, please contact us to confirm.
